El Khattat Yanja, President of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, emphasized the region’s remarkable progress, driven by the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
He highlighted Dakhla’s exceptional geographic position—at the crossroads of West Africa, Europe, and the Americas—which makes it a natural hub for trade, investment, and innovation.

Key projects and strategic priorities

Among the flagship initiatives discussed:

  • The Dakhla Atlantic Port, set to become a cornerstone of intra-African and international trade.
  • The development of industrial and logistics zones, particularly in the agro-industrial sector.

Discussions also addressed several key themes:

  • South-South and North-South cooperation dynamics.
  • Dakhla-Oued Eddahab’s positioning as a hub for African development.
  • The role of human capital and training as drivers of socio-economic progress.
