What Is a Consular Card?

A consular card is an official identification document issued by the Embassy of Liberia in Morocco to verify that the holder is a citizen of Liberia and is registered with the diplomatic mission. Note: It is not a passport, does not grant immigration status, and does not confer residence or work authorization.

Eligibility

Citizens of Liberia legally residing, working, studying, or temporarily staying in Morocco are entitled to apply, including dual nationals and minors (via legal guardian).

Fees (Non-Refundable)

• 1 year: 100 dh
• 2 years: 200 dh
• 3 years: 250 dh

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Card

The card is the property of the Embassy. In case of loss, theft, or damage, the holder must notify the Embassy within 7 days via email (info@liberianembassymorocco.ma) or hotline (+212766677783).

Application Procedure

1. Notification/Application: Submit your request via the online portal, email, or in-person visit.
2. Documentation: Provide proof of nationality (Passport/ID), proof of residence, and recent photos.
3. Verification: Embassy staff will verify your consular registration and biometric data.
4. Issuance: The new card is issued within 5–10 business days.

Any person knowingly providing false information or attempting to obtain multiple cards through fraudulent means may face denial, revocation, or referral to competent authorities.
