On the occasion of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025, the Oceanic Club of Casablanca (OCC), in partnership with the Ports4Impact Association, organized on Sunday, January 11, 2026, the Liberia Special Day, within the framework of the “Flavors & Colors of Africa” program.
This event transformed the OCC into a space for encounter and dialogue, highlighting Liberia’s cultural and diplomatic richness. The “Flavors & Colors of Africa” initiative aims to accompany the spirit of AFCON by fostering a cultural and civic dynamic that reflects the diversity of the African continent.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of His Excellency Joseph F. Johnson, Ambassador of Liberia to the Kingdom of Morocco, who emphasized the relevance of this initiative :
“Our continent is not a single story, but a masterpiece of a thousand colors and a banquet of endless flavors.
The program of the day allowed guests to discover and share Liberia’s identity through:
- Cultural presentations: documentary screenings retracing Liberia’s history and cultural evolution.
- Sports diplomacy: a friendly football match between the Liberian community and employees of Marsa Maroc, symbolizing unity and fair play at the heart of AFCON.

By placing Liberia in the spotlight, the Oceanic Club of Casablanca and Ports4Impact reaffirm their commitment to promoting people-to-people diplomacy.
