A highlight of the weekend was the introduction of the 13 new leaders of the fourth cohort of Amujae Leaders by former Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. This diverse group comprises policymakers, health advocates, parliamentarians, and ministers from across Africa, all dedicated to driving transformative change within their respective nations. They join over 40 preceding Amujae Leaders, collectively forming a formidable pan-African network united by a shared vision for progress.

The weekend’s agenda focused on critical discussions surrounding women in politics, the imperative of women assuming bold leadership roles, and the significance of women actively participating in the electoral process by supporting female candidates.
