Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco – His Excellency Mr. Joseph F. Johnson, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Liberia to the Kingdom of Morocco, swiftly undertook his initial diplomatic engagements by presenting his Letters of Credence and initiating constructive dialogue with fellow African ambassadors accredited in Rabat.
On March 25th, H.E. Mr. Johnson had the honor of submitting copies of his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates. On this occasion, Minister Bourita extended a warm welcome to the Ambassador and reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Liberia, with a particular emphasis on development and economic cooperation. He also conveyed, on behalf of the Moroccan government, a message of friendship and solidarity to the government and people of Liberia.
In response, H.E. Mr. Johnson conveyed the respectful greetings of His Excellency Mr. Joseph Nyuma Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia, to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as well as to the people and government of the Kingdom of Morocco. He expressed his resolve to actively contribute to the deepening of the longstanding bonds of friendship and the advancement of bilateral cooperation, while reiterating Liberia’s steadfast support for the Kingdom of Morocco.
