Student Affairs

The Embassy of Liberia in the Kingdom of Morocco carries out a vital mission of support and protection for its nationals, whether residing in or passing through the country. Through its consular services, it ensures assistance with administrative procedures and facilitates access to essential information related to their stay.

Liberian Students Association in Morocco (LISAM) is vibrant student organization established to unite and represent Liberian students pursuing higher education in the
Kingdom of Morocco. We promote academic excellence, cultural exchange, solidarity and well-being of our members through educational programs, advocacy and oversight in collaboration with the Liberian Embassy and Moroccan Institutions.
Liberia-Morocco bilateral scholarship awardees should expect a vibrant academic environment and strong student network. The learning climate would vary by city or region; course studies and lectures are done in French. One should also expect the speaking of arabic in daily exchanges. Students can live in dormitories or in shared apartments. The Association Marocain pour Coopération Internationale (AMCI) would give out slots for dormitory to students that apply. If you do not get a dormitory slot in your city, your other option would be cohabitation with other students.
Schorlarship awardee will receive allowances from GOL on quarterly basis and from AMCI bi-monthly. You would also receive assistance from LISAM Leadership ranging from settlement or resettlement arrangements, paperwork processing, study guide, short term accommodation in helping you adapt to your new life and environment wherever that may be within Morocco.
