Consular Card
A consular ID card is an identification document issued by a consulate or embassy to its citizens residing abroad. It serves as an official proof of one’s nationality and identity while living in a foreign country. Consular IDs are generally accepted for various purposes, accessing certain government services, and even serving as identification for travel in some cases.
Eligibility Conditions
- The Applicant must be a Liberian citizen residing in Morocco
Required Documents
- Proof of Identity: National ID card or any other official document.
- Recent Passport-sized photo: Full face on a white background.
- Proof of Citizenship: Applicant or parents of Applicant
- Parental Authorization (Children Below 18 yrs)
Application Procedure
- Prepare Documents: Ensure that all required documents are complete.
- Administrative Fees Payment: 500.00 dh.
- Submit the Application: Present your file to the Embassy of Liberia in Rabat.
- Application Processing: Processing time is usually 10 business days..
- Consular Card: Once approved, collect your document at the embassy
Important Information
- The Consular Card is valid for one (2) year.
- Fees paid are non-refundable.
- Any incomplete application will not be processed.
- Lost, mutilated or stolen card should be reported immediately to the Consular Section. The replacement of such card is done at the expense of the holder
Consular Card fees payment must be made at the consular office.
Application documents must be sent to the consular section email (consularservices@liberianembassymorocco.ma), and original copies of documents must be delivered at the consular’s office.
